This year marks Canada’s 150th birthday. To celebrate living in one of the best countries in the world, we will be sharing our adventures to all the Canadian cities we visit this year and have visited in the past. This past Family Day weekend, we decided to do a road trip to Ottawa to visit with my brothers and to experience Winterlude in our nation’s capital. We enjoyed skating on the Rideau Canal, eating maple taffy, and appreciating the ice sculptures carved by various artists. Ottawa is a charming city full of history and culture. One can visit this city anytime of the year and never be bored. We have visited Ottawa several times as the children have been growing up and each time we discover something new.
Where did we stay? This time with my brother, but in the past we have always stayed at Albert on Bay. Albert on Bay has spacious, reasonably priced condo style accommodations which are great for staying with the family.
Have your say!
